Tarot Cards of the Week – 19

Hello my darlings!

For all y’all Star Wars fans, May the Fourth be with you! I have yet to watch any of the Star Wars movies, but my girlfriend and I keep saying we’ll do it soon now that we have Disney+, so… to be followed!

Aside from traveling to galaxies far, far away, there’s a lot I’m looking forward to this May, both in my business and life. I shared in an Instagram post¬†last week that my main focus will be to avoid being burnt out, and to take my time with all the endeavors I’m undertaking. It’s tempting to want to do everything at once, especially when doors that were shut for quite a long time are now opening one after the other. But thankfully, getting older (I turned 28 in March!) does impart you with a little bit more wisdom and less impulsiveness.

Before we get to our cards of the week, I just wanted to remind you that my Keys to Manifestation course now takes place monthly, from the 1st to the 11th. The May course is already underway, but you can sign up for June by clicking here! I will also most likely do the same with my tarot course, and will let you know once I’ve set it up on my website so you can sign up!

And now, without further ado, it’s tarot time! This week, we have The Emperor (4), Temperance (15), and The Lovers (6).

To begin with, The Emperor is all about power, and I sense that this week, this card is here to remind us that we have more power than we think we do. As Iyanla Vanzant put it, “You were born with power. No one can take it away. The only thing that can diminish your power is your belief that you do not have it.” (On that matter, I strongly recommend you read this article.) So this week, don’t let anybody or any situation make you believe that you are powerless. Even if you feel that others hold all the cards, and you don’t, this isn’t true. You are just as powerful as anyone else, so tap into your power and you will be unstoppable.

Next is Temperance. This card is all about finding balance and adapting to a new normal after drastic, quasi-permanent changes. Be kind to yourself, of course, and give yourself time to recover and get used to the changes and their aftermath. Fill your day with meditative activities (consider joining my friend Jen’s May Meditation Movement on Facebook!). But, also look at where you can create routines that will give you a deeper sense of balance and control over your new situation (that brings us back to power, which our first card was all about).

Lastly, the theme of balance carries itself to our final card, which is The Lovers. This week, dedicate as much time to your work, social life, and physical activities, than you do to your spirituality. Make sure that the energy you spend in various areas of your life is balanced, as this will help you coast through any challenges that may arise. And lastly, before anything else, always let Love motivate all your thoughts, words, and actions.

I hope these cards spoke to you and will help you make your week beautiful, productive, and happy.

Much love, my darlings, and namasté,

S.
