Tarot Cards of the Week – 6

Hello my darlings!

I woke up this morning with a case of the Monday Blues, but it was nothing that a little bit of meditation, tarot card reading and journaling couldn’t fix. I’m off to prepare a delicious lunch (sautéed zucchini and tomatoes with curry powder and truffle oil), but before that, I wanted to share with you the cards for this week.

We have the Hanged Man (12), the Popess (2) and the Empress (3).

The theme is quite positive overall: meditation, learning, and abundance. What’s noteworthy this is the second week in a row that we drew the Popess and the Empress together. So you may continue with whatever these two cards encouraged you to start last week.

With the Hanged Man comes the idea of pausing to look at things from a different angle. For instance, in my business brainstorming, I might ask myself what would prospective clients want to get from me. In my relationship, I’ll try to put myself in my girlfriend’s shoes and understand how she feels about certain things. And in general, I need to pause more often, even when I think I don’t need to (because that leads to the feelings of overwhelming I mentioned above), and engage in meditative activities. I intend on taking the dog on longer walks this week, because they’re good for the two of us.

The Popess is all about learning to enhance various aspects of your life. For instance, you can consider taking a free business course online. Or you can read a book about tantric sex (Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!), or anything that you’ll gain useful, applicable knowledge from (and yes, you can totally get this from fiction books!).

The Empress is about cultivating abundance to make it a permanent state of being. This week, journal on how the best, wealthiest, most abundant version of you will live, eat, dress, work, and look at small changes you can implement to get closer and closer to your inner empress. This is also a good time to act concretely – fill yourself up with the idea of abundance and take a step to start that new business, launch that new idea, write that book. Whatever you have wanted to do for a long time, now is the perfect time to take the plunge and do it.

I hope you all have a magnificent, beautiful, and abundant week!

Much love,

S.
