Tarot Cards of the Week | May 18th-24th, 2020.

Hello my darlings!

Another week is upon us, and I can’t believe May is close to reaching its end. Time has flown much faster since almost a year ago, and while I’m excited to see what the future brings, there’s something slightly chilling (or sobering?) about this. It teaches me not to take youth for granted, and, especially given current events, not to take anything for granted whatsoever.

I was a bit surprised by our cards when I drew this morning, but I trust that Spirit is giving us the message we all need. This week, we have The Fool (0), The Star (17), and The Pope (5).

The Fool is all about new beginnings that carry the promise of a happy outcome. Perhaps you’ve been forced to go through significant changes in your life because of the COVID-19 situation, and have to start anew. Or perhaps you’re using the extra free time you have to learn a new skill or start a new venture. Whatever it may be, trust and be confident that you’re meant to be doing what you’re doing, and that you’re on the right path.

The Star carries the idea of hope and gratitude, and it isn’t the first time we’ve had her in our weekly readings, far from that. Have you been taking time, regularly, to focus on all your blessings? If not, don’t berate yourself, but make a conscientious effort to create a gratitude practice. Gratitude, after all, is one of the most important manifestation practices, and at the very least, an essential one. You can’t manifest without gratitude, and lots of it. So make it an essential part of your everyday life, and watch the miracles abound.

Lastly, The Pope represents authority, but the kind of authority that you may have to question. The Pope is a leader who has some credibility, but who might get too high on their own power and turn his leadership into a cult. So this week, take the time to look around you, and ask yourself whether you are giving certain people too much power over you. For instance, be mindful of shady doctors and other people with influence who spread misinformation and conspiracy theories online. Verify everything, and ask yourself whether these people mean well, or they just enjoy feeding off the energy of fear and panic that they’re generating.

New beginnings, gratitude, and approaching authority with caution should carry us well through this week! I hope it will be wonderful for all of you.

Much love,

S.
